MAYO STRAUSS

Mayo is a native San Diegan and graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has been an entrepreneur having co-founded a tactical equipment manufacturing company and has considerable experience in Human Resources, Payroll and General Office Administration. Her experience as a former military dependent motivated her to further her studies and complete a Master of Arts in Military Psychology program at Adler University in 2018.

Being a part of the military community has instilled in her a desire to provide volunteer assistance on a variety of levels.Most recently, she's found the efforts Summit for Stem Cell has put forth to help support research for a Parkinson's cure to be encouraging and inspirational.She is excited to be a part of the board and the continued effort to ensure the success of Summit's mission.
