TSRI Interviews Dr. Loring on FB

It’s not often you get a chance to ask a world class stem cell expert a question about their work, and how it might help you or someone you love. But on Friday June 8th you can do just that.

TSRI (The Scripps Research Institute) is hosting a special event on Facebook Live with Jeanne F. Loring, Ph.D. Dr. Loring is an American stem cell biologist, developmental neurobiologist, and geneticist. She is the director of the Center for Regenerative Medicine and professor in the Department of Chemical Physiology at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. Her research is currently focused on human pluripotent stem cells, a remarkable cell type made by reprogramming adult cells to an embryonic state, making them capable of developing into all of the cell types in the body.

Just head over to TSRI’s Facebook Page on June 8th from 1pm to 1:30pm PST to experience it live. Submit your questions on our Facebook page before the event or comment your question during the live broadcast. Mark the date and time on your calendars and please feel free to share this information with anyone you think might be interested. It promises to be a fascinating event.
